That’s right…a Resolution (which is funny, cause I don’t really “make resolutions!”). Hey, January is always a good time to start something new, and this is my first January as a 30something! So I now have an “excuse” (as if I needed one) to start blogging. Sometime around Eliza’s first birthday I realized that time is flying by way too fast. These special “moments” and funny little “things” happen daily around here. I always think those memories are etched in my mind forever, but then when Bryce gets home from work I find that I can’t remember what I was laughing about earlier in the day! So, a blog, a place for me to write down those moments and things before they are gone forever, and if someone can enjoy my little rants and raves…well, that’s great for them. And if by reading about my little moments someone chooses to pass along a little gem of their own…well, that’s great for me!
I don’t plan on writing anything profound here…but stranger things have happened! I don’t think that I am eloquent or humorous…but my kids sometimes are! I don’t intend to embarrass my family or friends…but probably will on occasion! I may not remember to keep up with this like I plan…but I do have high hopes none-the-less!
So here I am – an open book as I like to call myself. And here are my rants and raves, those little things, my moments, my life. I hope you find it as comical, touching, and real as I do.
Disclaimer: I know (and have been told) that I write/type like I talk NOT how my English teacher taught me! So, sorry in advance to anyone who will constantly be re-reading things and shaking their head at me. Oh, and I am addicted to “…” so just deal with it!
