For those of you who might not believe me yet or need a little more convincing….this is what I found after just a few too many minutes of silence this afternoon.
That would be Daddy’s fancy “hair goop” that she has been trying to get a hold of for weeks. She keeps grabbing it from the bathroom drawer and trying to unscrew the lid…usually we are right there or close enough to take it away from her before she succeeds. The little black tub has become Eliza’s forbidden fruit and she wants it more and more every time we take it away! Today she finally escaped without me realizing (I was dealing with a little rumble between Lexi and Isaac – but I thought the gate was closed on the stairs) and apparently headed straight for our bathroom! For some reason she decided to go hide in Lexi’s room to open the gooey goodness. Let me remind you that this is one of those “a-little-dab-’l-do” kind of products!…by the time I sent Lexi in search of her baby sister it was TOO late. She had slimed the bookshelves, the carpet, her face, and almost every inch of her clothes! The funniest part was the look on her face when I found her…so serious, and mildly annoyed that I interrupted her – absolutely NO remorse or worry about the trouble she was in! Lexi was equally annoyed that I was laughing and taking pictures instead of scolding her and taking the tub away.
And last, this is where I found her after I stripped off the sticky pants and sweatshirt and went to go get as much of the pomade off the carpet as I could before it dried into a crusty mess. I guess she can climb into the bathtub now! What you can’t see is that she is playing in a puddle of soap that she spilled onto the floor of the bath. Hmmmm, good clean fun? I’m not so sure. Ahhhhhh, when does it end!
